Field Day 2007 Results

December 2007 QST reported Field Day 2007 results starting on p. 80. FCARC results are near the bottom of p. 84, leftmost column, just about halfway through 10 columns of results for Class 2A (two transmitter portable club stations).

In 2007 FCARC made 339 contacts in power class 2 (less than 150 watts). We had two regular stations on the air, with 22 operators participating, and a score of 2,128 points. AC1L was the primary call used. N1AW was the GOTA station (5 contacts, 4 operators).

Field Day is not really supposed to be a contest, but we had pretty good results for a small club! A quick scan found no other Western Massachusetts scores in our class. The North Berkshire group made 964 contacts for a score of 3,680, with 30 operators and 5 transmitters (class 5A). The Hampden County group scored 6,912 points with 1820 QSOs, with 55 operators and 7 regular transmitters and a GOTA (class 7A).
